| Greek Light, Greek Landscape |

| Study painting with Professor Thomas Xenakis, M.A., M.F.A. to create from Greek light, landscape, in a vibrant, beautiful culture. Participants will work in their choice of painting media such as oils, acrylic, watercolors, gouache, tempera, and mixed media. Incorporating visual art instruction and art making, in a beautiful setting and rich culture is a wonderful combination. We welcome you to experience art creation through Tom's range of knowledge about painting and drawing, Hellenic culture, traditions, and language. |

| Thomas Xenakis was selected as faculty in residence to teach study abroad for the Dept. of Art and Art History in Georgetown University's International Programs. The course will focus on Drawing: An Italian Sketchbook. The class will cover a variety of drawing techniques and subject in the environment around the Villa, Fiesole, and Firenze (Florence), Italy. |
